Firepush tracks which orders were generated by your push notifications and SMS campaigns, so you can measure your return on investment.
How it works
- When a customer clicks on a push notification or SMS link, Firepush adds a tracking tag to the visit
- If the customer adds items to their cart, the tracking tag is saved with the cart
- When the customer completes their purchase, Firepush matches the order to the original message
- The order and its revenue are attributed to that push notification or SMS campaign
Attribution window
Firepush uses a 7-day attribution window. This means if a customer clicks your message and makes a purchase within 7 days, the order is attributed to that message. Orders placed more than 7 days after clicking are not counted.
What is tracked
- Orders — how many orders each message generated
- Revenue — total revenue in your store currency (and converted to USD)
- Conversion rate — percentage of clicks that resulted in an order
Where to see it
View your revenue and order data in the Reports section of your Firepush dashboard. You can see totals, breakdowns by message type (campaigns vs automations vs cart recoveries), and performance over time.
Good to know
- Each order can only be attributed to one message — no double counting
- Both push and SMS conversions are tracked using the same system
- Revenue tracking requires the Firepush embed script to be active on your store
