How it works
When a customer adds items to their cart and leaves your store without completing their purchase, Firepush automatically sends a sequence of up to 3 push notification reminders:
- First reminder — 30 minutes after cart abandonment (default)
- Second reminder — 8 hours after cart abandonment (default)
- Third reminder — 23 hours after cart abandonment (default)
Each timing is configurable in your Firepush dashboard. You can adjust the delays to match your marketing strategy.
Smart order detection
If a customer completes their purchase, Firepush automatically cancels any pending reminders. This means your customers will never receive an abandoned cart reminder after they have already bought — keeping your messaging relevant and non-intrusive.
Message personalization
Abandoned cart notifications automatically include details from the customer's cart:
- [product] — the product name from their cart
- [price] — the cart total with currency
- [image] — the product image
- [shop] — your store name

- Customize the message text and timing for each reminder
