Abandoned cart push notification

Abandoned cart push notifications automatically remind customers to complete their purchase after they leave items in their cart. With around 70% of online carts going abandoned, these reminders are one of the most effective ways to recover lost sales.

How it works

When a customer adds items to their cart and leaves your store without completing their purchase, Firepush automatically sends a sequence of up to 3 push notification reminders:

  1. First reminder — 30 minutes after cart abandonment (default)
  2. Second reminder — 8 hours after cart abandonment (default)
  3. Third reminder — 23 hours after cart abandonment (default)

Each timing is configurable in your Firepush dashboard. You can adjust the delays to match your marketing strategy.

Smart order detection

If a customer completes their purchase, Firepush automatically cancels any pending reminders. This means your customers will never receive an abandoned cart reminder after they have already bought — keeping your messaging relevant and non-intrusive.

Message personalization

Abandoned cart notifications automatically include details from the customer's cart:

  • [product] — the product name from their cart
  • [price] — the cart total with currency
  • [image] — the product image
  • [shop] — your store name

How to set up

  1. Go to the Automations section in your Firepush dashboard
  2. Enable Abandoned Cart push notifications
  3. Customize the message text and timing for each reminder
  4. Save your settings
