Message variables reference

Variables are placeholders in your messages that are automatically replaced with real data when the message is sent. Here is a reference of all available variables by message type.

Push campaign variables

Available in promotional push campaigns:

  • [shop] — your store name

Push automation variables

Available in abandoned cart, delivery, welcome, price drop, and back in stock automations:

SMS campaign variables

Available in promotional SMS campaigns:

  • [shop] — your store name
  • [discount] — a discount value
  • [redirectToURL] — a short tracking link to your store

Note: [name], [product], and [price] are not available in SMS campaigns because campaigns are sent to all subscribers at once without individual context.

SMS automation variables

Available in abandoned cart, delivery, ask for review, and win-back SMS automations:

  • [shop] — your store name
  • [name] — customer first name
  • [product] — product name (where applicable)
  • [price] — price (where applicable)
  • [order] — order number (where applicable)
  • [refund] — refund amount (payment refund only)
  • [redirectToURL] — a short tracking link
