What happens if I uninstall Firepush?

If you uninstall Firepush from your Shopify store, here is what happens:

What stops working

• Push notification campaigns and automations stop sending
• SMS campaigns and automations stop sending
• The opt-in widgets and embed script are removed from your store
• Your Shopify subscription charge is cancelled

Data deletion

When you uninstall Firepush, your account data is scheduled for deletion. This includes subscriber data, campaign history, automation settings, and account configuration. This action cannot be undone.

Push subscribers

Push subscriptions are tied to the Firepush service worker on your store. When the app is uninstalled, existing push subscribers will need to re-subscribe if you install a push notification app again in the future.

Before you uninstall

• Export any data you need (e.g. SMS customers) before uninstalling
