Why can't I see my sign-up boxes?
If your sign-up boxes (flyout widgets) are not appearing on your store, check the following:
1. The opt-in is not enabled
Make sure the opt-in is activated for the automation you want. Go to the automation in your Firepush dashboard, click the Opt-in tab, and ensure it is enabled and saved.
2. You are on the wrong page
Some sign-up boxes only appear on specific pages:
- Price drop and back in stock — only visible on product pages
- Welcome — appears on all pages
- Abandoned cart — appears based on cart activity
3. The display delay has not passed
If you set a display delay (e.g. 8 seconds or 3 page views), the widget will not appear until that condition is met. Try waiting or navigating to a few pages.
4. You already subscribed
If you have already allowed push notifications in your browser, the sign-up box will not appear again. Try using a private/incognito window or a different browser to test.
5. Unsupported browser
Push notification sign-up boxes are hidden on browsers that do not support web push. See our supported browsers article for the full list. Note that iOS devices require Safari on iOS 16.4 or later.
6. Store password protection is enabled
If your Shopify store has password protection enabled, the Firepush embed script cannot load and sign-up boxes will not appear. Remove the password to enable them.
