Delivery push notifications

Delivery push notifications keep your customers informed about the status of their orders — from payment confirmation all the way through to delivery and refunds. These notifications build trust and reduce support inquiries like "Where is my order?".

Notification types

Firepush supports 4 delivery-related automations, each triggered by a different order event in Shopify:

  1. Payment Accepted — sent immediately when an order payment is confirmed
  2. Order Fulfilled — sent when you ship or fulfill the order
  3. Delivery Updated — sent when the delivery status changes (e.g. out for delivery)
  4. Payment Refunded — sent when a refund is processed

Each type can be enabled or disabled independently in your dashboard.

How it works

Delivery notifications are fully automatic. Unlike other push types, customers do not need to subscribe to a specific product — any customer who has push notifications enabled on your store will receive delivery updates for their orders.

Firepush automatically matches the order to the right customer and sends the notification instantly when the event occurs in Shopify.

Message personalization

Delivery notifications include order details automatically:

  • [product] — the product name from the order
  • [price] — the order price with currency
  • [name] — the customer's first name
  • [order] — the order number (e.g. "#1001")
  • [refund] — the refund amount (for refund notifications only)
  • [shop] — your store name

  1. Go to the Automations section in your Firepush dashboard
