How to get more web push subscribers

Growing your push subscriber list is key to getting the most out of Firepush. Here are practical tips to maximize your subscriber count.

Enable the auto-prompt

The browser auto-prompt is the most effective way to collect push subscribers. Make sure it is enabled in your Firepush dashboard. When a visitor arrives at your store, the browser will ask if they want to allow notifications.

Use sign-up boxes on product pages

Firepush provides sign-up boxes for price drop and back in stock alerts on product pages. These give visitors a specific reason to subscribe and tend to attract highly engaged subscribers.

Fix in-app browser issues

If you run ads on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, customers may open your store inside the app's built-in browser. Push subscriptions do not work in in-app browsers.

Solution for Facebook/Meta ads:

  1. Choose Product Catalogue Sales as your ad type
  2. In the Ad > Links section, find App link destination
  3. Change it to "Open deep link in a mobile web browser"

This ensures customers are directed to their default browser where they can subscribe.

Drive traffic to your store

The more visitors your store gets, the more potential subscribers you have. Focus on driving quality traffic from sources that open in a real browser (organic search, Google ads, direct links, email campaigns).
