The Firepush dashboard is available in English. However, all customer-facing content can be written in any language you choose.
What you can write in your language
- Push notification titles and messages — supports all languages and characters including emojis. Learn about message variables
- Sign-up box text and buttons — customize the opt-in copy in your language
- SMS messages — write your text campaigns in any language
Important note about SMS encoding
SMS messages use GSM 7-bit encoding, which supports Latin characters, numbers, and common symbols. One SMS segment allows 160 characters with GSM encoding. Learn more about SMS segments and pricing
If your SMS contains characters outside the GSM character set (such as Chinese, Arabic, Cyrillic, or certain special characters), the message may be affected:
- Non-GSM characters may be stripped or replaced automatically
- This can affect message length and the number of SMS segments used
Learn how to create effective SMS campaigns that work well with GSM encoding.
Push notifications do not have this limitation — they fully support all Unicode characters, emojis, and any language.
Tip
If you serve customers in multiple languages, consider creating separate campaigns for each language group using the subscriber segmentation filters (e.g., filter by country with the "Located in" option).
