Win-back SMS

The win-back SMS automation helps you re-engage customers who have not purchased from your store in a while. It is sent automatically after a configurable period of inactivity.

How it works

Firepush identifies customers who have not made a purchase within your specified time period and sends them an SMS message encouraging them to return to your store.

SMS must be enabled and customers must have SMS marketing consent to receive win-back messages.

Message personalization

Win-back SMS messages can include:

  • [name] — the customer's first name
  • [shop] — your store name
  • [redirectToURL] — a link to your store

How to set up

  1. Go to the SMS messages section in your Firepush dashboard
  2. Enable the Win back automation
  3. Set the inactivity period (how long since the customer's last purchase)
  4. Customize the message text
  5. Save your settings

Tips

  • Include a discount code or special offer to give customers a reason to return
  • Use the countdown timer feature to create urgency with a time-limited comeback offer
  • Keep the message personal — use the customer's name with [name]
  • Link to new arrivals or bestsellers to show them what they are missing
